Insert threadless piercings

If you too have had enough of the complicated screwing and clamping of piercing balls, you can now also find threadless piercings in our range. This type of piercing is also known as threadless piercing, threadless push-in, push-fit or press-fit and does not require any complicated screwing or clamping. The term threadless means as much as threadless and refers to the lack of screw threads as found in conventional piercings. The advantage of this type of piercing is not only the ease of insertion and removal from the stitch channel, but also the high level of security: there is no screw ball that can be unscrewed over time and clamp inserts are unfortunately often lost more quickly than we would like. Threadless, on the other hand, sit firmly and securely in your ears, nose or other suitable body parts - come what may. We explain exactly how Threadless work and how you can use them.

Threadless do not work with balls that are clamped, but they still require tension. They consist of a Labret plug and an attachment with a small pin on the back. This pin is now inserted halfway into the Labret plug, which is already in the stitch channel, and then bent slightly (really only slightly, you don't need much force here) downwards. The pin now has a slight curve. Then push the attachment fully into the Labret connector with a little force. This is also referred to as "pressing" or "pushing". The fact that you have slightly bent the pin creates tension inside the labret, which allows the attachment to remain firmly and securely in place. You can increase the tension of your Threadless by increasing the bend of the attachment. Conversely, you can also reduce the tension by straightening the pin. The material used allows you to make small corrections again and again if necessary.
