Hydrogen peroxide without stabilizers
We offer hydrogen peroxide without stabilizers, and for good reason. Phosphoric acid is typically used to stabilize hydrogen peroxide. This food additive, designated as E 338, is present in large quantities in cola drinks and other sodas, but is also used to preserve UHT milk and as an anti-caking agent for milk powder. Phosphoric acid is approved for use in over 40 foods, but is suspected of weakening bones and contributing to kidney disease.
Since we offer hydrogen peroxide without a stabilizer, oxygen can constantly escape and the solution’s effectiveness diminishes over time. Therefore, the bottle should always be kept tightly closed, protected from light, and stored in a cool place, and should not be used after the best-by date has passed.
